The Northwest poplar is one of the most desired poplars in Alberta. Considered one of the ‘old standbys’ for Shelterbelts, it performs well in a variety of soil conditions. It is capable of surviving periods of drought. The Northwest has a circular canopy form with usually one main trunk. Great for large properties and parks. Sold only as a male clone, to avoid the springtime fluff.
Seedling size is approximately 12” tall , 1 year old.
