Known as the late lilac, this purple pink flowering shrub is a show stopper! Less fragrant than the Common lilac, and doesn’t sucker! Pruning should be completed after flowering to avoid removing any of the current years flowers.
Butterflies are attracted to this low maintenance shrub. Many clients prefer to interplant both Common and Villosa lilac to extend their blooming season. Tolerates many soil types but does not like standing water for long periods.
