SEEDLING DELIVERY

Seedling Delivery Information

  • We ship in May and can trickle into early June.
  • We will inform you via email or phone call ( if you haven’t provided an email ) when your shipment goes out, so you don’t have to check your mailbox for the delivery consistently. Please check your junk folder in case periodically.
  • All parcels ship CANADA POST expedited services. You will receive a DELIVERY NOTICE INSIDE YOUR MAILBOX for post office pick-up. No box will weigh more than 50lbs.
  • Trees will be DORMANT for a few weeks after receiving them. They can take weeks to begin coming out of dormancy. Towards the end of May, some plant material may be out of dormancy already.
  • Bare root items come dry root. Plug material is dipped in water and wrapped.
  • There will be planting instructions inside your parcel for helpful guidance.
  • If you can’t plant your seedlings right away, don’t panic; place them in a cool, dry location like a garage floor ( open box and sprinkle with water); they can easily sit for two weeks.
  • If you have provided us with a physical address as opposed to a mailing address, please contact us to change that information before shipping.
  • Trees are sold in bundles of 10 but could be packaged in higher amounts for faster delivery service, you will find those notes on your packing slip inside your parcel if that is the case
  • As advertised, the trees are 8-20 inches on average with exceptions; the evergreens are always shorter as they are slower growers, for example. Approximate sizes for each plant will be found on the product description, all are considered conservation grade.
  • We have all hands on deck for shipping. Should you have an enquiry, we ask you email us instead of leaving a message. With 12+ hour days, it becomes difficult to call back at 8:00 or 9:00 PM
